THE JOB:

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Bar Porter to join our dynamic team. As a Bar Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our bar and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons. Your responsibilities will include assisting bartenders, keeping the bar area clean and organized, and providing support to the entire bar staff. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

THE DAY TO DAY:

  • Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to customers.

  • Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, utensils, and bar tools.

  • Ensure that the bar is well-stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar.

  • Collaborate with other bar staff to provide excellent customer service.

  • Handle basic customer inquiries and requests.

  • Assist in maintaining inventory and restocking supplies as needed.

  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a safe and welcoming environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or a willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and bar operations.

  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.

  • Positive attitude and a customer-centric approach.

  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to the food and beverage industry.
