JOB SUMMARY: 

The purpose of this position is to work behind the bar to facilitate the smooth flow of service to customers by the Bartender/Beverage Server.  Performs the service of replenishing stock and all required cleaning. 

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Checks and maintains the required par stock on assigned station.
  • Obtains replacement stock from inventory in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assists the Bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests’ special requests, and during busy times icing drink glasses and (depending on assigned station) pouring drinks.
  • Must be able to interact with high profile guests while maintaining a professional demeanor. 
  • Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner. 
  • Be a brand advocate by providing Guests with accurate information regarding our venues, menus, and pricing.
  • Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, and other bar appliances.
  • Busses all dirty glasses, plates, and silverware to appropriate cleaning area.
  • Restocks bar as needed with appropriate glasses, condiments, garnishes, and alcohol/non-alcohol products.
  • Good knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and the ability to describe all food and beverage items to the guest.
  • Acknowledges, greets, and converses with customers who approach the bar. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous bar experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent and literate in English
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. 
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.

 PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Mobility to constantly move about the property 
  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, climb stairs
  • Ability to move and carry large, heavy objects weighing up to 90 pounds (keg weight).
  • Ability to use repetitive hand motion, holding, grasping
  • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights 
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy 
environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products.  Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
