Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that hotel information and images are up-to-date on hotel’s website, OTA’s and GDS screens in order to maintain accuracy of information available to guests and bookers
- Conduct rate and content audits on contracted OTA’s, hotel brand website and GDS screens in terms of search criteria, rate sequencing, rate descriptions and images; monitor and report on rate and availability parity are being maintained and agreements set are being adhered to: communicate any discrepancies to the respective Channel Market Managers and Marketing Department
- Analyze data for trends, monthly production of all channel’s production in order to identify key opportunities
- Assist and execute Sales Campaigns or Brand Campaigns to meet channel targets and drive revenues to the hotel.
- Communicate Channel Market Managers for any tactical offers opportunities and assist in any interface issue with the varies channels
- Identify new channel partners and explore potential contract opportunities
- To assist in the identifying digital channels for F&B, Wellness, and MICE
- Work closely with Marketing & Communications Team for all Sales & Marketing activities over Digital and Online medium
- To be familiar with the technical set-up of all relevant distribution channels or switches
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in hotel operations or related field
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Hotel Management or related field. Familiarization with hotel revenue management concepts and tools preferred
- Excellent in both written and verbal communication skills (English, Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Extensive proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required and ability to manipulate data essential
- Knowledge of reservations system and revenue management data
