The hotel provides the international business community with space for up to 3000 delegates across 33 meeting rooms. It accommodates both business and leisure guests in one of our 630 bedrooms.

Job Description

  • In conjunction with the Reservations Manager, coordinate and managing the daily operations and efficient running of the Reservations Department, ensuring the department objectives are being achieved
  • Delegate tasks to team members by assigning duties and preparing their work schedules
  • Ensuring all administrative procedures are completed accurately and in accordance with the departmental and hotel guidelines
  • Working with the Reservations Manager to implement and deliver individual and departmental training plans
  • Working with the groups team on a day to day basis ensuring all enquires are analysed and responded to within brand standard timeframes
  • Assist in the preparation of contracts for the leisure segment (FIT, group allocation and series)
  • Work closely with Director of Sales & Marketing, Reservations Manager and Revenue Manager to set daily pricing and business strategies for all segments to maximise occupancy and ADR.
  • Preparation of departmental financial & KPI results for presentation at monthly departmental meetings and weekly commercial meetings

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a hotel reservations team
  • Problem solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of reservations, Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office suite would be highly desirable
  • Understanding of Revenue Management principles
