Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the PR voice for the hotel under the direction of the Director of Communications and Public Relations Manager.
- Work closely and in partnership with social media team, other departments as well as the Director of Communications and Public Relations Manager to achieve the department’s and organisation’s PR objectives.
- Produce and drive PR content across a variety of platforms including print and online publications, websites, social media (not restricted to WeChat, Red and Weibo), digital content creator etc.
- Work with the Communications team to contribute creative stories, experiences, dining and packages to generate media interest, followers translating into additional revenue.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in public relations or communications; relevant experience in sizeable luxury hotel or agency experience is a plus
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and/or Languages-related discipline is preferred
- Excellent in both written and verbal communication skills (English, Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Strategic mind-set and creative thinking
- Deep understanding of the Greater China market
