Job Description

The Assistant Night Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s night operations and ensuring guest satisfaction during the overnight shift. This position reports to the Hotel Services Manager and works closely with other departments to maintain a high level of service quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Ensure the safety and security of the hotel guests and staff during the night shift.
• Assist with the check-in and check-out of guests, including handling any guest complaints or issues that may arise.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the night staff, including front desk agents, security personnel, and housekeeping staff.
• Ensure that all hotel departments are operating efficiently and effectively during the night shift.
• Prepare and distribute reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and other performance indicators.
• Assist with training new employees and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor and respond to guest reviews and feedback on various platforms.
• Assist with the preparation and execution of the night audit process.
• Ensure that all hotel policies and procedures are followed by staff and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Night Manager.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

 

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
