THE JOB:

As an Apprentice Bartender, your role entails assisting the bartender and upholding the bar's impeccable appearance. You'll play a pivotal part in crafting memorable guest experiences, greeting them with warmth and attentive service. By delving into their individual narratives and preferences, you'll personally curate WOW moments that resonate long after their time with us has ended.

STARTING RATE: $15.0344 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Assist the bartender by carefully following instructions in the preparation of drinks, mixes, and garnishes.

  • Ensure the bar area maintains impeccable cleanliness, sanitation, and visual appeal, adhering to high standards set by the bartender.

  • Keep a keen eye on inventory levels, consistently restocking all necessary items and products within assigned work areas.

  • Execute precise setup, labeling, and stocking protocols for alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, supplies, glassware, paper products, garnishes, and ice under the guidance of the bartender.

  • Thoroughly clean and maintain equipment, tools, and supplies, meticulously polishing glassware to ensure a pristine presentation and confirming all equipment operates smoothly as directed.

  • Execute opening and closing tasks as directed by the bartender, ensuring seamless transitions between shifts.

  • Dedicate yourself to providing exceptional service to all guests, actively listening to their needs and promptly responding to inquiries, while closely following the bartender's lead.

  • Handle guest complaints within your authority, referring more complex issues to management or security when necessary, and promptly report any unusual events, discrepancies, missing items, or suspected theft to the appropriate authorities under the guidance of the bartender.

  • Preform other job-related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • One (1) year apprentice bartending experience in a similar resort setting.

  • One (1) year customer service experience.

  • Ability to constantly stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel and squat.
