THE JOB:

As an On Call, Union Lounge Runner for Mandalay Bay, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your dedication to provide courteous and prompt tableside service to all guests, and welcoming personality will set the stage for the memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us. By delivering top-notch guest experiences alongside maintaining a pristine environment, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience.

THE STARTING RATE: $13.9589

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome

  • Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter

  • Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes and menu features as needed, including any changes or additions

  • Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen and management, and inform management of guest commentaries or concerns

  • Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area

  • Perform assigned open and closing duties

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain TAM Card, and Food Handlers Card

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Flexible schedule to accommodate on call shifts

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Prior experience as a Food/Beverage Runner or Server, preferably in a high-volume setting 

  • Communicate in English both verbal and written forms

  • Polished appearance and professional demeanor

  • Welcomes new challenges and adapts easily to changing environment

  • Consistently greets guests with a smile, and maintains a friendly upbeat demeanor even during busy times
