THE JOB

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for being knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non‐alcoholic selections as well as maintaining the appearance of the bar. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

 

DAY TO DAY

  • Make and serve alcoholic and non‐alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed

  • Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar

  • Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non‐alcoholic selections available

  • Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork

  • Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending

  • Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar

  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

  • Must have alcohol awareness, food handlers license, and sheriff's card
