Wardrobe Clerk – On Call (Harrah’s LV) | Caesers

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing friendly, courteous service to team members/guests/co-workers while working in their assigned area.  The Wardrobe Clerk coordinates the production of dry cleaning and hotel laundry. Performs special projects assigned as necessary to maintain quality in wardrobe services.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides unmatched service to guests at all times.
  • Retrieves garment bags from conveyor and hang into proper slots.
  • Assists Team Members with uniform requirements.
  • Counts, scan, records and hangs garments.
  • Occasionally inventory counts.
  • Occasionally sewing buttons.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Sorts and counts uniforms to verify quantities.  Keeps accurate record of repairs and worn uniform.
  • Folds and places item in appropriate storage areas.
  • Complies with all OSHA and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and safe manner.
  • Assist co-workers with tasks on an as needed basis.
  • Comply with all department policies/procedures and service guarantees.
  • Perform all job duties safely using personal protective equipment.
  • Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment or schedule maintenance when necessary.
  • Attend all training classes as requested.
  • Attend and participate in pre-shift department meetings.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
     

Job Specifications 

  • Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Work requires a neat appearance with good hygiene.
  • Work requires flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Work requires a minimum of 1 year related work experience.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift.
  • Ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work; take initiative.
  • Must be able to get along well with co-workers.  Possess well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Receive instructions and hear inquiries from guests, clients, or staff.
  • Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of shift and remain calm during emergency situations.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel; climb, ascend and descend stairs; maintain equilibrium for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
     

Working Conditions
Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.  Must be able to handle sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems in a timely manner.
