  • The Opportunity: 

    Retail Receiving Coordinator 



    This role is responsible for delivering the logistical execution of the seasonal buying strategy, driving performance and contributing to growth across the department. The Purchasing Coordinator reports directly to the Retail Buying Manager. 


    • Assist Manager of Buying creating PO’s and overseeing billing process of retail orders. 

    • Execute replenishments, re-orders, specific requests, and create sku data in inventory system. 

    • Influence category assortments by analyzing product performance, customer feedback/data, consumer trends, competitive landscape and local market knowledge. 

    • Work with up-line to plan and allocate promotional cadence, flow order, minimum/maximum quantities and monitor pricing strategies. 

    • Participate in quarterly physical inventory processes assisting with resolution of discrepancies. 

    • Evaluate Inventory and POS system reports to identify opportunities and create tactical plans to accomplish growth targets. 

    • Work closely with stock and accounting team to properly account for accuracy in the receiving process.  

    • Complete appropriate purchasing department processes to order, process merchandise and ensure payments are properly allocated for goods. 

    • Establish and maintain vendor accounting relationships internally and externally. 

    • Recap and analyze selling, category and vendor performance. 

    • Ensure vendors are set up properly and approved per FS policies. 

    • Continuously drive newness and initiative, maximizing sales and minimizing risk 

    • Work with in-store team to ensure the ranges are delivered with brand guidelines. 

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Degree in business, economics, marketing or fashion merchandising related field preferred. 

    • Retail Store Sales experience is a plus. 

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. 

    • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure. 

    • Proficient with data entry and merchandising software systems 

    A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
