Job Description

The scenic Hilton Waikoloa Village is looking for a Laundry Stocker to join the Laundry team.

  • Classification:  Full-Time
  • Shifts:  Open Availability, must be able to work weekends
  • The hourly pay rate:  $17.99 to $19.99

A laundry stocker assures appropriate pick-up/distribution of soiled/clean linens for guest rooms to maintain Hilton’s standards of quality.

What will I be doing?

  • Deliver clean linen from laundry department to linen lockers throughout the hotel. Requires pushing/pulling linen carts up to 500 lbs. Required extending arms overhead, bending, grasping, and lifting bulky linens weighing up to 50 lbs. from shelves and carts.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to ensure continuous supply.
  • Complete inventory sheets in English with current count of linens and the amount required for resupply to maintain predetermined par/standards.
  • Assist in laundry inventories, by rearranging linen in laundry department.
  • Other duties as assigned such as assisting in clearing laundry chutes.

What are we looking for?


High School graduate or equivalent preferred


Laundry experience/housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to arrive to work on time and when scheduled.
  • Ability to stand on feet up to 7 hours a day and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate washer and dryer equipment.
  • Physically able to move / lift, large, heavy objects such as: linen, linen carts and/or bags of linen
  • Physically able to operate cleaning equipment such as: brooms, spray bottles 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form, over the phone or in person.
  • Ability to learn, follow and enforce standards for cleanliness as they apply to the laundry area.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards and able to recognize and act in emergency situations. and in our communities.
