Kitchen Steward – Full Time (Lake Tahoe) | Caesers

Job Description


Provides dishwashing, pot washing and general cleaning services for kitchen facilities.



  • Loads, unloads and operates dishwashing and silver burnishing equipment.
  • Washes pots and other cooking utensils.
  • Carefully handles and loads china and glassware according to correct procedures to minimize breakage.
  • Transports dishes, silver, glassware and other utensils and accessories.
  • Keeps immediate work area clean.


  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • No previous experience necessary



  • Ability to follow directions in English or Spanish
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.  Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures



  • Ability to lift, push and pull 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours
  • Mobility and dexterity to load, unload and transport dishes
  • Ability to push/pull heavy carts and racks up to 50 pounds
  • Mobility to move quickly and easily throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas
  • Ability to grasp, finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to hear and use visual inspection
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach and climb stairs
