ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  
Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors.  Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.  Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest’s wins.  Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.  Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.  Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.  Promotes Caesars Rewards programs and card membership.  Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.
 
Immediately greets and seats guests with a smile and initiates the execution of the “great service experience”.  Responsible for seating and rotating lines while recognizing and developing rapport with our VIP’s and AEP’s.  Performs “satisfaction checks” when not seating guests.  Oversees duties performed by the Restaurant Service Personnel to ensure fast and efficient turnaround of tables.  Entertains guests and creates a fun-filled environment by circulating throughout public areas of the facility as assigned.   Maintains knowledge of all menu items and other pertinent information regarding the outlet.  Promotes Harrah’s and acts in a professional and courteous manner. Exhibits a positive, outgoing personality.  Performs “station” and “side work” checks, voids checks as directed by policy and assists with administrative duties as assigned.  On occasion, may perform non-union restaurant duties as assigned. Able to stand for long periods of time. Must have ability to read and write English. Performs all related and compatible duties as assigned.
 
EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.  Entertainment background or restaurant experience a plus.   Outstanding public relations skills and outgoing personality.   Knowledge of MICROS system preferred. Typing and adding machine skills.  Prior experience as cashier preferably in hospitality industry. Mathematical abilities: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; ability to make change for guests.
