This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Customer Experience team that’s using guest insights to evolve our industry-leading channels and deliver personalized experiences. As a Director, Product Management (Payments), you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Payments team reporting to the VP Product Management, you will support projects including delivering payment capabilities globally and across Hilton’s many brands and target customers.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Pinpoint customer needs (owners, Hilton Honors members, guests, partners, and Team Members) to help define and prioritize product features that drive the most impact
  • Build strategic plans and business cases for new product concepts and present to all partners, being an enthusiast for payment product(s)
  • Define a product’s key success metrics, analyze/present metrics post-launch, and quickly act on trends that arise from those metrics.
  • Translate customer needs into clear and detailed requirements, and ensure technical teams are in lockstep with them

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Build trusted working relationships across Hilton, including working closely with engineering, design, data science and analytics, brands, policy/regulatory, and market-facing teams.
  • Use your superb experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners while collaborating on business-critical initiatives.
  • Be effective and creative, transforming a variety of your customers’ desires into valuable and delightful products that can be delivered to market
  • Coach and manage a team of product managers

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Payments is both broad and deep. You will drive initiatives that transform how our guests pay for their bookings and on-property experiences and how our business-to-business customers enable their clients and employees to have seamless payments experiences.

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of work experience in technology or an equivalent field
  • Four (4) years of professional product management experience
  • Three (3) years of significant experience leading at-scale teams (direct and indirect) to deliver web, mobile, and back-end experiences in a high-growth and agile environment.
  • Two (2) years of experience in either payments or related hospitality systems, with an understanding of how to drive a great experience and meaningful sources of revenue
  • Travel up to 20%

It would be useful if you have:

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in a technology-related field
  • Seven (7) years working in Agile Product Management
  • Four (4) years of People Management experience
