At Kimpton Fitzroy London, we are looking for a Breakfast Manager to join our team of a 12 month fixed term contract (Maternity cover)

Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel is in the heart of Bloomsbury just a 2-minute walk from Russell Square tube station and remember the Piccadilly line runs 24hrs on Fridays and Saturdays.

As a Breakfast Manager, we will support you to:

Our Breakfast Manager must ensure that the customers’ expectations are exceeded during their dining experience.  You will be expected to greet the guests, take their orders and be on hand to address any concerns they may have.  You will have direct responsibility for maintaining the highest of standards to ensure guest expectation is consistently exceeded working with the team to achieve a common goal.

As our Breakfast Manager you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant, providing hands-on support for the team whilst always ensuring a 5-star customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team alike. This includes listening to feedback from customers and addressing any concerns they may have, as well as providing clear instructions to team members.
  • Work closely with the chefs to create menus and coordinating with servers to ensure that orders are delivered promptly, and collaborating with other managers to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly.
  • Be able to solve problems that arise in the restaurant quickly and efficiently. This includes addressing issues such as equipment breakdowns, team shortages, and customer complaints.
  • Be Committed to help build, support, develop, and coach a dynamic workforce, getting the team up to an amazing standard.

 

To succeed as our Breakfast Manager, you will need

  • To be able to analyse data to make informed decisions about the restaurant’s operations. This includes analysing sales data to determine which menu items are most popular, tracking inventory levels to ensure that supplies are always available when needed, and monitoring labour costs to ensure that teaming levels are appropriate.
  • To be an experienced Food & Beverage Manager at a 4-star property, someone who wants to transition to a 5-star lifestyle environment.
  • To be an Assistant Manager from a 5-star property, who is looking to progress. 
  • To be experienced in a leading a team. 
  • To be confident in delivering great service, have a can-do attitude and always willing to help out where needed – a great team player!
  • A passion for providing positive guest experiences, you will be someone who loves to interact with our guests!
  • Experience in handling guests queries and concerns.
  • To be willing to learn new things and work as part of our wider Hotel team!
