He is a very well-rounded leader with notable strengths in boutique real estate project development, pre and post opening general management, budgeting, procurement, human resources, team building, customer service, entertainment, event management, sales and marketing, food and beverage conceptualization, operations, and cost control.
He is business and results oriented and has an acute ability to maximize profitability and maintain productivity and quality, whilst meeting deadlines and budgets and having excellent motivational and decision-making skills, all while maintaining brand-consistent guest experiences.
Daniel is currently based in Dubai, where he moved late 2021 to take on the exceptionally exciting role as General Manager of The Guild, a 1,600 square meter multi-space restaurant concept by EATX Hospitality Group, due to open in December 2022 in DIFC. Upon his arrival to Dubai, he was also appointed to lead the opening of The Park JLT, a three-story dining destination with three distinctive concepts, scheduled to open in September 2022.
Prior to his move to the Middle East, he lived in Asia for fourteen years where he launched and operated highly successful and celebrated beach clubs, nightclubs, restaurants, cocktail bars and a boutique hotel in Bali, Shanghai, and Phuket, where he fostered an extensive network and loyal following of worldwide industry collaborators, talents, PR, lifestyle brands and high-net-worth individuals.
His multicultural background, adaptability and abilities with languages allow him to navigate between cultures to establish trust, whilst being an empathetic leader for diverse teams.
